Public Hearing Notice: 2015-2019 Consolidated Plan Citizen Participation Plan

The City of San Bernardino is an entitlement jurisdiction that receives Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investments Partnership (HOME) and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) funds directly from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). As a condition to receiving these funds, the City is required to develop a Citizen Participation Plan that establishes the policies and/or procedures the City must follow to engage stakeholders and the public in the decision-making process of how these federal funds will be used, specifically in pursuit of any of the affordable housing and/or community development goals and objectives summarized in the City’s Five-Year Consolidated Plan

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of San Bernardino has prepared an amendment to the Fiscal Year (FY) 2015-2019 Citizen Participation Plan. The City is seeking public comment to the City’s proposed revisions of this document. Copies of the revised FY 2015-2019 Citizen Participation Plan will be posted on the City’s website at http://www.ci.san-bernardino.ca.us and made available to the public for review and comment beginning Tuesday, September 19, 2017 through Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at the following locations:

1. City Clerk’s Office – 215 N. "D" Street, 3rd Floor, San Bernardino, CA 92401

2. Housing Division - 215 N. "D" Street, Suite 301, San Bernardino, CA 92401

3. Norman F. Feldheym Central Library, 555 W. 6th Street, San Bernardino CA 92410

In addition, the City of San Bernardino will hold a public hearing on the proposed revisions to the FY 2015-2019 Citizen Participation Plan. The date and location of this meeting is as follows:

All comments relative to the draft document should be submitted to the City of San Bernardino, Economic Development and Housing Department no later than 11:00 a.m. October 18, 2017.
