"All Hands" Clean Up Transforms Blair Park
On August 17, Public Works crews from the Operations & Maintenance Division descended upon Blair Park for an All Hands Clean Up that left the park looking (almost) brand new. More than 50 identified work tasks that included upgrades, cleanups, and repairs were completed.
Park patrons were very thankful for the work they noticed being accomplished. The Blair Park Association showed up with snacks, refreshments and thank you cards from kids.
This is the second All-Hands Park clean up in the past year. Another one is scheduled for December at a park location to be determined.
"I want everyone to know how dedicated these guys are," said Parks and Recreation Director Lydie Gutfeld. "The crews did a fantastic job and Blair Park looks amazing!"
