San Bernardino, CA – On Sunday, November 3rd, at approximately 5:20 PM, the San Bernardino Police Department's dispatch center received a request for assistance from the San Bernardino County Fire Department regarding a stabbing at Perris Hill Park. Upon arrival, patrol officers located a male victim, who was homeless and living in an encampment within Perris Hill Park, suffering from suspected stab wounds as well as dog bite injuries. The victim was transported by AMR to a local hospital, but despite medical efforts, he was pronounced deceased. The exact cause of death is pending the results of a coroner’s autopsy.
Homicide detectives were immediately assigned to investigate the incident. Additionally, the San Bernardino Animal Services Department responded to the scene and took custody of the dogs involved. Authorities are actively gathering information to understand the circumstances surrounding this incident.
