Brush Fire on Little Mountain 

At 2:35 this afternoon, Fire received a call for a brush fire off of Beverly Dr. in the Little Mountain area. Crews arrived two minutes later and immediately requested ten additional engines and a camp crew.

At this time, Deputy Chief Martin Serna of the San Bernardino County Fire Protection District can confirm four structures have caught fire and at least two have been fully destroyed.

A command center has been set up at the intersection of Edgewater and I Street and is being led by Assistant Chief Gary Jager. Blair Park is being used as a staging area.

There are now 40 engines, 3 helicopters and two bulldozers attacking the fire.

An evacuation order has been issued for all residents living south of Ridge Line Drive, all residents living north of Edgehill Road heading west to and including Beverly Drive, east to Circle Road.

Marshall Elementary School, located at 3288 North G Street has been opened as an evacuation center.
