Metrolink and Arrow Service to Shut Down
from December 26 through December 29
Metrolink has announced that all Metrolink trains will be out of service for four days from Tuesday, December 26 to Friday, December 29, to conduct necessary upgrades to the rail network. Regularly scheduled service will resume on Saturday, December 30. The shut down includes the Arrow Line between Downtown San Bernardino and Downtown Redlands.
The work being conducted is one of the most critical investments in Metrolink infrastructure in recent history. This closure is the final phase of the modernization project and will replace 1930s-era relay technology with state-of-the-art microprocessor-driven signal technology.
