New Pocket Park Opens Adjacent to Campo Santo Memorial Park
Crews from the Public Works Department this week completed work on a pocket park in a previously vacant lot adjacent to Campo Santo Memorial Park.
The drought tolerant park connects Campo Santo Park with North Arrowhead Avenue and features a walkway, sitting area, and a Dia de los Muertos themed mural by local artist Christian Mariscal.
The timing for the completion of the pocket park is perfect, as the Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Department is planning a Dia de los Muertos event there later this month.
