Town Hall Meeting on Thursday to Discuss a New Fire Station
at Arrowhead Elementary School
The community is invited to join San Bernardino County Fire and the San Bernardino Unified School District on Thursday, September 14 at 4:30 pm to learn more about a new fire station being planned at Arrowhead Elementary School. Residents will be asked what outdoor improvements they would like to see at the school. Arrowhead Elementary is located at 3825 N Mountain View Avenue in San Bernardino.
A new, state-of-the-art County fire station is being planned to bring improved fire and medical assistance services to the Arrowhead Elementary School neighborhood. San Bernardino City Unified School District and San Bernardino County Fire are partnering together to replace Fire Station #227 – currently located on 40th Street and Electric Avenue. The new fire station will be relocated to 38th Street and will be built on excess land at the southernmost end of Arrowhead Elementary's grass area. The building will have a small footprint, using just an acre.
As part of this partnership, County Fire will be adopting Arrowhead Elementary. SBCF and SBCUSD are exploring ways Arrowhead can improve its outdoor space. The public invited to have a voice in the planning process and share what types of improvements would benefit the school and its students.
